Founded in 1995 by Steve Turner and his wife Christine, STA Accountants was originally known as Steve Turner & Associates. Steve and Christine began in a small office in Queen St, Busselton with a staff base of two members which quickly grew to six in 1996.
At this time, Mal Fraser commenced his working relationship with Steve which eventually led to their partnership in the year 2000. A continuing growing number of staff and clients led Steve and Mal to buy and renovate the old Pettit home in Fairbairn Road. They moved their entire business to this address in 2002 where they still remain today.
In January 2006 on the commencement of their 10th anniversary of business, Steve and Mal employed their previous business acquaintance, Mark Trovato. Again, with business growing, Steve and Mal welcomed Mark as their third partner in 2008. This change in partnership was a good opportunity to give the business a ‘face-lift’ and embarked on their new chapter as STA Accountants. It was Mal and Mark’s wish to honour the business’s original partner by renaming the firm as an abbreviation of the original business name.
With a fresh new look, STA Accountants strived ahead while keeping the reputation of providing quality and personal service for all their clients. We pride ourselves on these qualities and look forward to the way of the future by keeping our systems up to date with the latest technology while continuing to offer the same personal service we always have.
